Exceptionally well-written book on Fusion Apps installation and administration

I couldn't have asked for more after waiting for such a long period for a comprehensive book on Fusion Applications. This book is a written exceptionally well and covers almost everything you need to know about Fusion Applications administration right from introduction, setting up new instance and managing the same. I would say this is a must have resource for anyone pursuing Fusion Apps or those who are interested in learning about this new complex Applications Suite from Oracle. I can comfortably say (or rather boast) that I know Fusion Applications concepts just after reading this book.

Pros:
- Excellent introduction to Fusion Applications
- Covers a number of possible installation topologies
- Every concept is accompanied by clear diagrams or screenshots which makes understanding the concepts easy
- The introduction and planning sections are masterpieces

Cons:
- So far found no cons, but it expects the reader to know common Unix commands and basic database administration. Will update this section once I find any issues.

Outstanding book with a clear flow of content

After more than a decade of working as an Apps DBA, I was looking for migrating to Fusion Applications DBA but there was no book available except a few good blogs. This book seems to cover a wide breadth of topics for Fusion Application Administration even for beginners despite the cover says intermediate/advanced.
Good thing is that the administration part of the book covers Fusion Middleware administration as well. Since I have an applications background, it seems quite an exciting book personally to me.

This is a fascinating book about a little discussed aspect of World War II. It talks about not just the military aspect of the issue, but the politics as well. This is a "must read" for those interested in radio propoganda.

This is a fascinating read about three people who broadcast propaganda on Axis radio in World War Two. It is a lively story that lays out their biographies as well as the very different outcomes that citizens in Allied countries accused of treason faced after the war. Good study on Indian cinema

This book is one of the few around that gives a general account on the many Indian filmographies.

Informative without being too much for experts, has information for even the less popular Indian cinema as the one of Assam, it has a good section on South Indian cinema.

It has been very helpful for my study and one of the few valid resources in English.

Concise, hilarious, insightful and real!

Agile is a breath of fresh air in a sea of "How to do [lofty lifetime goal] with hardly any [insert verb or noun] guides you see everywhere, that are expensive and way longer than they need to be. Sasha has distilled the ideas that most authors would spread over 300 pages into a powerful little gem you can read in one sitting.

Ideal for the chronic procrastinator, Sasha encourages readers to reflect on their true motivations, and break even small goals into bite-sized individual actions or "sprints".

Even the length of the book is perfect for the short attention span... I read (and finished!) this book in just over half an hour, which is a great example of the "sprint" Sasha encourages to begin the journey to any big goal. I work in a high volume, stressful sales career where bigger and better results are always expected, yet I am often overwhelmed by even small changes to my busy routine and yearly goal setting. The set goal + sprint + get support + celebrate "getting there" formula keeps me on track.

Creatively Finishing what you set out to accomplish!

If your nickname is "Im gonna" never really finishing anything or sticking with anything long enough to reach the kind of success you desire then this will speak to your soul. Personally I could never get a grasp on the whole Tony Robbins “massive action” thing. The truth was I wasn’t really clear on what "massive action" was nor about what I wanted or why I wanted what I wanted so I was kind of wishy washy on it all. Reading this book was a revelation. Connecting the dots. Understanding the process, the truth of it, and being able to see how my thought patterns affected my ability to act with focus and get through the challenge moments to find true success. A perfect checklist to achieving your personal legend.
